Ingredients

500 g of cherries

250 ml of milk (cow or vegetable)

180 g flour

100 g of almond powder

30 g of melted butter (+20 g for the top) - also works with coconut oil, margarine ...

100 g of light sugar (or other type of sugar)

3 eggs

1 sachet of vanilla sugar

optional: kirsch, rum ...
Preparation
1. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl, then add the melted butter.

2.Then add the milk (and a little raspberry liqueur if you want). Rum, orange blossom, bitter almond extract or Kirsch go very well too.
​
3. Add the flour, mix well with a whisk then the almond powder.
​
4. Finally add the cherries, pour into a buttered mold not too large, sprinkle with small knobs of butter and a sachet of vanilla sugar , and bake for 30 minutes at 220 ° C.
