Little History
This cake, often associated with Brittany has the main ingredients : flour, sugar, butter and eggs.

Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
2. Separate the whites from the yolks. Weigh the egg whites and yolks. Add these measurements together then prepare the same amount of butter, flour and sugar.

3. Melt the butter and let cool.

4. Meanwhile, mix the egg yolks, sugar and a pinch of fleur de sel until the mixture turns white. Add the melted butter and flour then mix again.

5. Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate them into the preparation.

6. Butter and flour a dish, preferably a cake mold, or use a silicone mold. Pour in your preparation and cook for 40 to 45 minutes at 180 ° C. After 40 minutes, occasionally check the doneness by inserting the tip of a knife. When the cake is baked, it should come out dry.
