Steve Bannon in Federal Court
I chose to analyze a 1:20 minute video clip "5 things to know for November 16 : Capitol riot, China, Russia, Covid-19, Afghanistan" about Bannon who was indicted last week after he refused to respond to subpoenas from the House committee investigating the January 6 Capitol Hill riot. AJ Willingham delivered this news on Cable News Network on November, 16, 2021.

The introduction is complete, well delivered, the viewer knows the place, the subject, the date,... Futhermore, when the presenter talks about Bannon, there is live footage of him arriving at the federal courthouse, imaging the announced remarks. Nevertheless, I find that after 21 seconds of the video, all the rest of the content is useless.

Indeed, during 1 minute, we see Bannon going to the court, invaded by a herd of journalists who surround him to question him. We see absolutely nothing except people getting excited and all pushing each other to question Bannon. In addition we hear nothing, Bannon's words are masked by the noise and flash of the journalists. These images do not bring anything except empty, unprofessional content highlighting a lack of organization.

The ending is equally sloppy despite the presenter's attempt to make up for the disaster by saying that there are technical problems and that Bannon cannot be heard because of the photographers and journalists.

This content is therefore useless, I would have taken a step back and retransmitted the images the next day to provide interesting material. To do this, I would have cut out the noises of roads, cars,... and condensed the most important words of Bannon not to be out of the subject and to go straight to the point.

Nevertheless, I think that the idea of directly interviewing the main person concerned is good since only this man can give his real feelings, bring a subjective opinion and detailed information about the situation.
