New Emmaüs beauty center in Paris to help the most vulnerable
I chose to analyze a video of the French daily newspaper l'Humanité about the new Emmaüs beauty center "Reportage. A l'espace beauté d'Emmaüs Solidarité, des soins et de la confiance en soi" by Franck Cartelet on November 29, 2021.

The headline is very clear and is well represented in the video.
Concerning the video, it doesn't start with an introduction, it's a pity but it gives the plot. The images are good and present the subject well (highlighting the store, the cleanliness, ....), they allow to create a movement and to captivate the spectator.
The structure of the video is good, everything is chronological, it begins by playing on the pathos by presenting the subject with the actions of the association with the presence and the words of the homeless. Then, there are many interventions which bring content, personal opinions which is interesting and well structured, there is no repetition, one presents the subject and "why", the other explains "how" and the last one the consequences and the help brought.
Nevertheless, concerning these interventions, the first one is too long but I like the fact that he introduces the spectator by addressing him directly : "you and me"... The second one is good and complete but before this intervention, there are images (1m58) filming a scene advising the person helped which seems to be a staging and could therefore be deleted because it is overacted and makes the video less interesting and especially less real.
Another negative point is to be notified, that of the music which is much too redundant and therefore annoying.
The content is overall good and the sentences on the video are complete and essential to the understanding of the video. They bring figures which make the video captivating and well worked. We find the lexical field of happiness, will and hope which are totally in connection with the subject : helping people in need. Moreover, the images film smiles, happy faces,... allowing to put forward the importance of this exhibition and the brought helps.
Finally, the video ends but we still hear the people which is useless.
