Teacher, 36, and wife, 33, killed
I chose to analyze the article "GRIM DISCOVERY Teacher, 36, and wife, 33, killed as their two kids slept upstairs after ‘row over parking’ as two men, 34 & 67, held" published in the British newspaper The Sun at 6.50 p.m. on November 22, 2021 about a murder case in Somerset written by Paul Sims, James Somper and Claudia Aoraha.

This article starts with a video taken live, illustrating dramatic facts accentuated by sounds nevertheless it could be shortened because it does not bring any real content and the "watch the video" written in big letters is in my opinion useless.
We notice that the headline is placed after the video in order to put this last one in front, this idea is good and allows to give intrigue by pushing to the curiosity. It starts with ''GRIM DISCOVERY'' in capital letters, written in blue to insist on the seriousness of the facts which is not really necessary in my opinion and is a bit too exaggerated. However, the headline is complete but should stop at '' ...slept upstairs'', because the information after could be detailed later and the fact of notifying that the children were sleeping allows to play on the pathos and pushes the lector to read the article.

The presence of photos is useful and brings concrete proofs but there are too many of them (7), they are badly distributed in the article and sometimes have the same descriptions which is not professional and brings an unnecessary surplus of information and illustrations.

Concerning the text, it is clear but can be shortened, the idea of putting quotes from witnesses is good but they could be better exploited by being integrated directly in the text without being listed.

Finally, there are advertisements on reality TV stories,... for The Sun that cut the article isn't appropriate to the initial topic thus lacking professionalism.
